Breweries, Wineries & Distilleries

Using high altitude fruit, grapes and hops Delta County has some of the best liquid assets in Colorado. Award winning wines, hard ciders, gins and beer are part of the landscape that makes Delta County Fresh!

Wine Country Out West

Grape harvests in Delta County occur between Mid-August to Mid October with most of the harvests occurring in September. Harvest is followed immediately by the crush. Many wineries will allow you to come and observe. Don’t expect to see women stomping grapes in big barrels as in the popular scene from an “I Love Lucy” episode, but you will be able to observe this unique part of the wine making business. Call your favorite winery to see when would be a good time to watch or even join in!

Some of our signature events for you to consider are the North Fork Uncorked, West Elks Wine Trail, Colorado Winefest and the Hard Cider Festival.
